Dave is a native of the Hocking valley who developed love of drawing at a very early age. He  began selling his prints in the late 90’s and has since drawn several hundred different sketches which have sold nationwide. He chose pen and ink because of the rich textures he could achieve that fit well with his love of drawing plants, animals, rock gorges, covered bridges, light houses, old rustic buildings and historic buildings around the area. Most of his subjects are native to the Hocking Hills region. Dave is a member and President of the Hocking Hills Artists and Craftsman Association. His work can be seen at several local art shows including Lilyfest, the HHACA annual Fall Show in September, Homegrown on main, several State Park lodges and on Facebook.
