My name is Debbie Barber. My entire life has been spent in Hocking County. Quilting is my art and my passion. I’ve been making quilts since 1984. I love the process but mostly the piecing and appliqué. Most of my quilts are machine quilted but I do hand quilt at least one a year.  

My sewing studio is my favorite room where I spend nearly everyday.  I name, label and photograph each quilt. One comment best describes my love of quilting is, “I work with my hands to feed my soul”.
