Kay has been a member of Hocking Hills Artists and Craftsmen since 1988. She has served as both vice president and president of the club. Kay is a member of the Heart of Ohio Tole Association, where she had served as a convention sub chairman for 23 years. Kay paints mostly in acrylic and oils. She also makes crocheted necklaces and angels. In her spare time, she is working on a listing of all the Veterans in Hocking County.
